Almost nothing on this site would exist without the photography. A build record is only a record if somebody was there — on the roof, under the deck, in the street beside the crane — month after month, most of it before there was anything to look at.

From the build team
I have never seen such a genius individual for getting the best out of a situation. Through the entire process there were long stretches when there was not necessarily anything good to look at — nothing but a marvellous piece of engineering taking place, which is not the same thing as a photograph.
The photography and image team managed, at all times, the challenge of capturing the most organic, best-looking, most memorable version of what was happening. All of this coming together into existence is on this site because somebody went and found the picture.
